This is my personal site with links to both things Korver related and information about my passions and travels.

First of all, I am a Korver from the Westzaan-Assendelft line of Korver. For a good page on the Dutch Korver families take a look at this page it allowed me to finalize my research on where I come from and it might help you!

For the non-dutchies out there, Korver is the name of a profession and can mean either the job of making baskets (a korf) used for fishing or the fisher man itself who used those baskets (a korfer).
Some variations of the name exist (Corver, de Korver, Körver, Kurver, Curver) but it is thought that only Korver and Corver most likely come from the same lines.

I had started compiling a Korver people list as database, but due to stupid SPAM I quit, since the email addresses were being used for spamming people on the list. However you can view a new list here or make a private entry into the new secure list here.
